MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. Target region NOAA 2683 was the source of two minor B-class events in the past 24 hour period. The largest was a B2.4 at 10/04/03:54 UT. 2683 is mostly unchanged maintaining a large leader sunspot surrounded by a few opposite polarity tiny satellite spots. No significant solar flare events expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2683 on October 04 at 15:30 UT is: N13W41 (Solar X = 615", Solar Y = 134")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
