Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2018 16:26:43 +0100

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA 12723 was classified as an alpha/A-type sunspot group at the beginning of the UT day, but has since lost its spots through decay or foreshortening with approaching the South West limb. No flares have occurred since the last message, and no increase in activity is expected in the next 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 12723 on 5-Oct-2018 at 16:00 UT is:
S12W80, ( 924", -217" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
