MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is extremely low. "Quiet Sun" conditions prevail. The visible solar disk is spotless. The target will switch to a small filament located within an old, very weak magnetic area in the northeastern quadrant. It is possible that the filament will slowly disappear in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on October 08 at 11:15 UT is: N24E18 (Solar X = -272", Solar Y = 298")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
