MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is extremely low. The visible solar disk is currently spotless. Target plage NOAA 2724 continues to slowly decay. An isolated B-class event is still possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2724 on October 16 at 09:30 UT is: S08E15 (Solar X = -248", Solar Y = -227")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
