MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. A single tiny sunspot pore in NOAA 2725 (S10E08) is the only sunspot currently on the visible solar disk. The target region, NOAA 2724, is slowly decaying. If possible, include 2725 within the F-O-V. A minor B-class event is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2724 on October 17 at 17:00 UT is: S09W03 (Solar X = 050", Solar Y = -245")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
