MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level with no significant increase expected anytime soon. The visible solar disk is spotless. Target region NOAA 2724 (S09W38) is decaying slowly. The target will switch to NOAA 2725 located just east of 2724. 2725 is a smaller region but has brighter plage. If possible, include 2724 within F-O-V. No noteworthy events expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2725 on October 20 at 06:30 UT is: S09W23 (Solar X = 374", Solar Y = -234")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
