Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at an extremely low level. NOAA 12727 began to decay after the last message, but has since grown in spot area within its trailing polarity. 12727 is now classified as a beta/B-type sunspot group, but renewed growth seems to have reinstated some penumbra (changing it to a C-type). No flares have occurred since the last message and there is no increase in activity expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12727 on 17-Nov-2018 at 16:00 UT is:
N01W38, ( 598", -17" )
