Subject: MM#009 Default Target" -->

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at low levels. A faint CME was observed in coronagraph images on 28-Dec-2018, which may signal the presence of an active region beyond the eastern limb. The decaying plage region close to disk center has remained quiescent since the last message but shall be the target region for a further 24 hours. Slight chance of an isolated low-level event.
The approximate position of the target region on 29-Dec-2018 at 14:30 UT is:
S06E06, ( -95", -57" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
