MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Leading negative polarity flux developed within the positive polarity trailing portion of target region NOAA 2732 resulting in an increase in solar flare activity. 2732 produced several B-class events and a C1.6 event at 01/06/10:51 UT. 2732 has now rotated too close to the west limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. B-class events and another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2732 on January 06 at 14:30 UT is: N09W83 (Solar X = 957", Solar Y = 160")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
