Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has increased. The largest event since the last message was a C5.0 at 13:13 UT today (only two hours ago) produced by the target region NOAA 12733. 12733 was also the source of eight low level B-class flares. This region retains its beta/D-type configuration, but increasing in sunspot area and number of spots. It is emerging some opposite polarity flux in its leading portion. Further B-class activities are expected with a chance of another C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12733 on January 26 at 14:30 UT is:
N06W29 (471", 184")
