MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target region, NOAA 2733, has completed west limb passage but it is still the source of several limb occulted B-class events. The largest was a B7.2 at 01/31/00:58 UT. 2733 will remain the target for the next 24 hours. There is a region located just beyond the northeastern limb at N08 that produced a limb occulted B1.3 event at 01/31/15:43 UT. This region will most likely be the default target tomorrow.
The position of NOAA 2733 on January 31 at 14:30 UT is: N04W91 (Solar X = 970", Solar Y = 065")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
