Subject: MM#009 Default Target" -->

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at very low levels as the decaying plage region approaches the western limb. The looptops of a new active region (possibly the return of NOAA 12733) are visible behind the eastern limb, and GOES X-ray flux appears to be increasing as it rotates into view. The active region appears quite extensive in STEREO-A images and shall be the new target region. Chance for some increased activity over the coming 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 12-Feb-2019 at 14:30 UT is:
N03E89, ( -970", 50" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
