Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The visible solar disk remains spotless. It is worth mentioning that the filament in the target plage region erupted around 00:30 UT today, producing a very weak two-ribbon flare and being associated with a weak CME. The target plage is rotating to the west limb. No significant activities are likely in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on February 24 at 14:30 UT is:
N09W58 (780", 190")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
