Dear Collaborators,
A new compact active region has rapidly emerged in the northeast quadrant since the last message and shall be the new target region. The region is not yet numbered but appears to have a highly inclined magnetic neutral line indicating that it could be a new cycle region. There has been no associated solar activity as yet but this may change if the region continues to develop.
The approximate position of the target region on 5-Mar-2019 at 08:30 UT is:
N10E36, (-556", 265")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
