Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is extremely low. The target region has emerged magnetic flux since the last message. This region has consolidated its existing flux to begin forming a leading spot, but remains unnumbered by NOAA. No increase in flaring activity is expected in the following 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 18-Mar-2019 at 12:00 UT is:
N03E24, ( -388", 160" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
