MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. The tiny target region has decayed significantly. Today's target will be a northern polar zone filament that has, at times, had an active phase. Should the filament continue in an active phase, it may result in the filament erupting. Solar minimum conditions will continue for the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on July 20 at 06:00 UT is: N46E34 (Solar X = -368", Solar Y = 634")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
