Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at an extremely low level. The visible solar disk remains spotless. There appears a tiny emerging flux region in the southeast quadrant, which will be today's target. No noteworthy activity is likely in the following 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on August 5 at 07:30 UT is:
S07E20 (-320", -190")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
