MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Quiet Sun conditions continue. The visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. The well developed southeastern promience/filament target has completed limb passage. The filament has displayed some large scale motions during activated phases. Deep solar minimum is expected to continue during the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on August 25 at 12:00 UT is: S44E60 (Solar X = -529", Solar Y = -697")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
