MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk remains spotless and plageless. Deep solar minimum conditions are expected for the next 24 hour period. Segments of the target filament disappeared since the last message . The filament is likely to continue in an activated phase.
The position of the target on August 26 at 08:00 UT is: S45E38 (Solar X = -414", Solar Y = -733")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
