</address> <pre> </pre> MM#009 Default Target <br />Dear Collaborators,
<br />The first region with a sunspot group in about a
month began emerging on September 1st at
approximately 00:00 UT. The Cycle 24 EFR,
numbered NOAA 2748, is currently displaying
a small B-type/beta sunspot group, bright
H-alpha plage and arch-type filaments.  The
default target will switch from the northwestern
filament to NOAA 2748. No significant solar flare
activity is expected in the next 24 hour period.
<br />The position of  NOAA 2748 on September 01 at 06:30 UT is:
N13E32 (Solar X = -493&quot;, Solar Y = 114&quot;)
