MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The first region with a sunspot group in about a
month began emerging on September 1st at
approximately 00:00 UT. The Cycle 24 EFR,
numbered NOAA 2748, is currently displaying
a small B-type/beta sunspot group, bright
H-alpha plage and arch-type filaments. The
default target will switch from the northwestern
filament to NOAA 2748. No significant solar flare
activity is expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2748 on September 01 at 06:30 UT is:
N13E32 (Solar X = -493", Solar Y = 114")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and
