MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was at a very low level during the past 24 hour period. The Cycle 24 target region, NOAA 2749, is decaying especially within its trailing polarity portion but is maintaining its weak B-type/beta sunspot group. Solar flare activity is expected to continue at a very low level in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2749 on October 02 at 11:00 UT is: S09E57 (Solar X = -796", Solar Y = -209")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
