MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current solar disk is spotless and plageless with an increase in the level of activity not expected anytime soon. The target is a prominence/filament system located in the southern polar zone.
The position of the target on October 18 at 13:30 UT is: S47E78 (Solar X = -643", Solar Y =-715")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
