Subject: MM#009 Default Target" -->

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a deep solar minimum level with no spots on the visible disk. No X-ray flares have occurred in the past 24 hours, and no change in flaring activity is expected in the following 24-hour period. The faint filament in the southern polar zone has diminished, so a small filament in the northern hemisphere becomes the new target.
The approximate position of this region on 22-Oct-2019 at 12:00 UT is:
N43W25, ( 299", 597" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
