MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Cycle 24 target region (NOAA 2757) has increased its B-type/beta sunspot group's area and spot count since the last message and was the source of a B1.1 event at 01/25/07:14 UT. A new Cycle 25 region located at S30E82 produced a B1.3 event at 01/24/19:51. The new C-25 region is still too close to the southeastern limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. Additional B-class events expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2757 on January 25 at 14:30 UT is: N04E21 (Solar X = -349", Solar Y = 154")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
