Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a background level. The visible solar disk remains spotless and featureless. Yesterday's target has completely rotated over the west limb. Today we will watch a small and weak filament, as shown in the H-alpha images, from the southeast quadrant. Quiet-Sun conditions continue in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on February 11 at 23:40 UT is: S40E20 (-230", -560")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
