Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. A few A-class flares as well as a B1.5 flare (at 18:04 UT on May 27) were produced by a new region that is still beyond the east limb. Today we will watch this region. Further A- and even B-class flares are likely in the following 24-hour period.
The approximate position of the target on May 28 at 07:30 UT is:
N33E90 (-800", 520")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
