MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk continues to be spotless. The tiny
target plage is slowly decaying and quiescent. The target
will switch to a filament located in the northern
polar zone. The filament displayed an active phase on
June 20th and slowly disappeared on the 21st but it has
reappeared today and is somewhat active. No noteworthy
solar flare events expected anytime soon.
The center position of the filament on June 22 at 07:30 UT is:
N40W02 (Solar X = 025", Solar Y = 585")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
