MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is extremely low. The visible solar disk is spotless and plageless. The well-developed target filament located in the northern polar zone slowly lost most of its eastern segment since the last message but added to its western portion. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon.
The center position of the target filament on June 23 at 07:00 UT is: N40W18 (Solar X = 224", Solar Y = 584")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
