Subject: MM#009 Default Target" -->

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at background levels. NOAA 12766 has continued to decay since the last message and is now spotless, but a new bipolar region has emerged in the northeast quadrant over the past 24 hours. It is unnumbered and quiescent, but shall become the new target region. Chance for some isolated low level events if the region continues to develop.
The approximate position of the target region on 7-Jul-2020 at 11:00 UT is:
N18E26, ( -401", 242" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
