Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity continues to be extremely low. The target bipolar plage region has decayed further, with no flares having occurred since the last message. A small set of coronal loops are visible over the South East limb from a compact flux region, with this becoming the new target region. No change in flaring activity is expected over the next 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 20-Jul-2020 at 12:30 UT is:
S22E90 , ( -875", -352" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
