MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Cycle 25 target region NOAA 2767 (S21E01) is mostly unchanged and was quiescent during the past 24 hour period. The target will switch to another Cycle 25 region mostly located over the northeastern limb. A leader sunspot is now visible just inside the limb. The region was the source of two limb occulted A-class events since the last message. The largest was an A4.7 at 07/27/07:25 UT. Additional minor events probable in the next 24 hours.
The position of the target region on July 27 at 16:00 UT is: N27E88 (Solar X = -842", Solar Y = 424")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
