MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2770 (A-type/alpha) continues in decay phase but was the source of nine A-class events and five B-class events since the last message. The largest event was a B2.0 at 08/12/01:49 UT. The events are associated with the small dark active filament located on the region's main magnetic inversion line. A region now rotating over the southeastern limb at approximately S30 produced a B1.0 event at 08/12/03:51 UT. A-class events probable with B-class events possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2770 on August 12 at 05:15 UT is: N25W32 (Solar X = 457", Solar Y = 316")
