MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The solar disk is spotless. The large decaying target
region (return of NOAA 2768) is mostly unchanged since
the last message. The filament located along the region's
main magnetic inversion line has been active/eruptive in
the past few days. It is currently somewhat active with
the possibility that it may enter an eruptive phase in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on September 01 at 15:00 UT is:
N30W03 (Solar X = 043", Solar Y = 370")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and

for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
