MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless. The large spotless  target region is mostly unchanged. The filament that was located along the target region's main magnetic inversion line remained active and disappeared since the last message. A portion of this filament is likely to reappear in the next 24 hour period. No noteworthy solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of the target on September 02 at 16:00 UT is: N31W15 (Solar X = 212", Solar Y = 389")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
