MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current visible solar disk is spotless again today. The large decaying target region (return of NOAA 2768) is mostly unchanged. The previously active filament that was located along the region's main magnetic inversion line did not reappear in the past 24 hour period. No significant solar flare events expected anytime soon.
The position of the target on September 05 at 10:00 UT is: N32W53 (Solar X = 646", Solar Y = 440")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
