MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current solar disk is spotless. Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon. The tiny EFR target region is now in decay phase. The target will switch to an active prominence located on the southeastern limb.
The approximate position of the target on Sept.10 at 07:00 UT is: S42E83 (Solar X = -703", Solar Y = -644")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
