MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current solar disk is spotless and plageless. Solar flare activity is maintaining an extremely low level and is not expected to increase anytime soon. The southeastern filament target was mostly quiescent in the past 24 hour period. The target will switch to an active filament located in the northwestern quadrant.
The position of the target on September 12 at 06:15 UT is: N47W47 (Solar X = 477", Solar Y = 638")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
