<br />Solar activity has been at a background level. No flares have
occurred since the last message. The visible solar disk remains
spotless. Yesterday's target region has almost disappeared.
Today the target will switch to a region in the northwest quadrant
(as mentioned yesterday), which has begun to decay. Quiet
conditions will continue in the next 24 hours.
<br />The approximate position of the target on September 15 at 9:00 UT is:
