Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was an A1.5 (at 23:28 UT yesterday) produced by an east-limb region, which will be today's target. This region is rotating onto the visible solar disk. Only minor (A-class) events are likely in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on September 20 at 09:00 UT is:
N32E90 (-800", 500")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
