Dear Collaborators,
The target limb region has produced a few A- and B-class X-ray events (the largest one being a B1.7 at 16:34 UT on September 21) since the last message. This region is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. Further low-level (A- and B-class) activities are expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on September 22 at 07:30 UT is:
N27E82 (-780", 430")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
