MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk remains spotless. Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. Target region NOAA 2773 is mostly unchanged. The southern portion of the filament running along the region's main magnetic inversion line became active and erupted since the last message. No noteworthy flare events expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2773 on October 02 at 08:30 UT is: N27W47 (Solar X = 628", Solar Y = 372")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
