Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. The emerging flux target region has developed spots and should be confirmed as being designated as NOAA 12778 at the start of the next UT day. This region appears to be a beta/ C-type sunspot group classification and has produced low B-class events in the past 24 hours (the largest being two B1.2 flares on 26-Oct-2020 at 04:22 UT and 06:23 UT). Mid-B-class flares are possible in the next 24 hours as this region continues to emerge new magnetic flux.
The approximate position of this region on 26-Oct-2020 at 16:30 UT is:
S19W12 , ( 190", -390" )
