Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. NOAA regions 12778 and 12779 have both decayed slightly since the last message, with 12778 retaining a beta/E-type classification and 12779 losing penumbral coverage to be classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. No significant X-ray flares have occurred in the past 24 hours. Low B-class flares are probable over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12779 on 31-Oct-2020 at 16:00 UT is:
S15W66 , ( 854", -279" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
