Dear Collaborators,
Yesterday's target region NOAA 12781 has been designated as a beta/C-type configuration, decreasing its sunspot area and number of spots significantly. It has been flare quiet mostly since the last message. Today the target will switch to the limb region as mentioned in the last two messages. This region has been numbered as NOAA 12782 with a beta/C-type configuration. 12782 has produced three C-class flares in the past 24 hours, the largest one being a C2.6 at 11/11/18:36 UT. Additional low C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12782 on November 12 at 04:30 UT is:
S31E61 (-727", -521")
