Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is increasing due to the appearance of the new active region currently behind the southeast limb. It has continued to produce B-level activity since the last message, as well as two occulted C1.3 flares today. Its magnetic configuration is still unclear at this time but it shall remain the target region for the next 24 hours with low-to-intermediate level activity likely.
The approximate position of the target region on 22-Nov-2020 at 16:30 UT is:
S22E87, ( -899", -365" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
