Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The target region NOAA 12794 has grown marginally in spot area since the last message, remaining classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot group. Another spot group is in the process of rotating over the South East limb and has already produced multiple low B-class flares since the last message, the largest being a B2.7 flare on 22-Dec-2020 at 11:31 UT. This region becomes the new target. Further low B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 22-Dec-2020 at 18:30 UT is:
S17E90 , ( -932", -285" )
