Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. The largest X-ray event was a B1.3 at 00:02 UT today (also the only B-class event in the past 24 hours), produced by the target region NOAA 12798. There are three regions with sunspots in the visible solar disk now, with the other two regions NOAA 12797 (alpha/H-type, S18W01) and 12799 (beta/B-type, N21W40) being flare quiet. The target NOAA 12798 remains its beta/C-type configuration and has entered the decay phase. Low B-class activities are still possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12798 on January 23 at 16:30 UT is:
S16E08 (-130", -181")
