Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a very low level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a B1.3 (also the only B-class event since the last message), produced by the target region NOAA 12799. 12799 has rotated over the west limb but with some overlying loops still visible. We will watch this region for a further 24 hours. Only very low level activities are likely in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12799 on January 27 at 08:30 UT is:
N23W88 (895", 381")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
