Subject: MM#009 Default Target" -->

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The target region in the northwest quadrant has remained quiescent since the last message. However, it has since developed a pair of sunspots giving it a beta configuration, but remains unnumbered at this time. Chance for isolated low-level events over the next 24 hours if the region continues to develop.
The approximate position of the target region on 2-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N32W37, ( 496", 585" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
