Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at very low levels since the last message, save for a few sporadic A-class flares. The target region NOAA 12801 has since decayed to an alpha region as it approaches the western limb. It shall remain the target region although no change in activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12801 on 4-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N30W66, ( 770", 521" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
